iMIS EMS Cloud Readiness Overview
Innate BI’s EMS Cloud Readiness Program is designed to facilitate a seamless transition to iMIS EMS.
The program is structured into three key phases:
• Review
• Planning & Management
• Build
The process begins with a comprehensive assessment of your iMIS system and its components, followed by detailed planning and project management, and culminates in the build phase where Innate BI assists with recreating essential components (forms, procedures, overnight tasks, etc.) for EMS.
The program can be customized to align with your union’s specific needs and technical capabilities. Each phase can operate independently; however, we strongly recommend at least undertaking a review, whether through Innate BI, another partner, or your own team.

This phase involves a comprehensive review of your iMIS System, identifying, documenting, and assessing the various components for compatibility with EMS. The review will detail the status of non-compatible components, determining whether they are necessary, can be replaced with new EMS functionality, are being rebuilt by the Hub, or require rebuilding.
The review will include a thorough assessment of the following items to identify components needing updates for EMS compatibility:
• Tables
• SQL Procedures
• SQL Views
• SQL Functions
• iMIS Business Objects
• iMIS Queries (iQAs)
• Zentso Forms
• iMIS Content
• Custom forms
• Custom integrations
• Process automation and alerts
Components will be categorized by:
• Standard iMIS, Hub Custom, Union custom
• Module
• Function
• Form, automation, or other
• Required: Yes, No, Maybe
• In EMS: As standard, built by Hub, requires build by
• Usage stats: Low to high
• Requirements different from standard template
• Priorities, etc.
The Hub will be replacing many modules and components, and we will collaborate with them to understand which components they will manage.
We will provide detailed recommendations on which components need replacement, the methods for replacement, and the appropriate personnel for the task.
In this phase, we will work closely with you to further analyse the review findings and develop a comprehensive plan to manage all required tasks in the build phase, incl:
• Detailed analysis and prioritization of components requiring replacement
• Identification of other unions with similar components to explore cost-sharing or reduction opportunities
• Selection of a project management methodology that suits your organization’s preferences, whether agile, waterfall, or another approach.
We provide project management support to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Our team will coordinate with your union to establish clear timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure a smooth transition to EMS.
Innate BI offers extensive support during the build phase, training and development for the replacement of components.
Our services include:

• Design and implementation of CloudToolz forms
• Development of CloudToolz automated or non-automated flows
• Creation of process automation and/or alert tasks in EMS
